Ingen kan väl ha missat Billie Eilishs segertåg över världen. Hon har spottat ur sig hit efter hit, hon kammade hem otroliga sju Grammys för sin debut "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?", som för övrigt också var det mest streamade albumet i världen 2019, och hon har skrivit titelspåret till Bondfilmen "No Time To Die".<br/><br/>Hennes andra album har fått titeln "Happier Than Ever". Hon har, precis som på debuten, inte samarbetat med några andra låtskrivare eller producenter förutom med sin bror Finneas O'Connell.

With A Little Help From My Friends captures one special night on November 21, 2020 when Steve Lukather, Joseph Williams and David Paich appeared with the new line-up of Toto for a global event originating from Los Angeles, CA. Joining Lukather, Williams and Paich for this next chapter in their indelible history are new band members bassist John Pierce (Huey Lewis and The News), drummer Robert "Sput" Searight (Ghost-Note / Snarky Puppy), and keyboardist / background vocalist Steve Maggiora (Robert Jon & The Wreck). Keyboardist Dominique "Xavier" Taplin (Prince, Ghost-Note) and multi-instrumentalist / vocalist Warren Ham (Ringo Starr) segued over continuing their tenure in the ensemble. This marks the fifteenth incarnation of the Toto line-up in consideration of band members or sidemen who joined or exited.<br/><br/>The track listing features "Till The End," "Hold The Line," "Pamela," "Kingdom of Desire," "White Sister," "You Are The Flower," "I Won't Hold You Back," "Stop Loving You," "Home Of The Brave," "Rosanna," and "With A Little Help From My Friends." In the DVD and Blu-ray releases, a documentary is featured alongside the performance, featuring thoughts from all members of the band that appeared that evening. <br/> <br/>Steve Lukather a.k.a. Luke shares, "When the music is performed by great musicians it honors TOTO. The documentary featured on the DVD and Blu-ray offers great insights in to our thoughts looking forward. David, who stands with us, alongside Joe and myself, desire to keep this music alive. And Paich could pop in any time for a show as a special surprise. When it came to plan this specific set list, we picked an eclectic group of songs for this one night only show.

Standing in the Doorway: Chrissie Hynde sings Bob Dylan. <br/><br/>The songs were recorded in lockdown by Chrissie and her Pretenders bandmate James Walbourne, almost entirely by text message. James would record an initial idea on his phone and send it off to Chrissie to add her vocal, before the tracks were mixed by Tchad Blake (U2, Arctic Monkeys, Fiona Apple).<br/><br/>Speaking about how the album came together and its inspiration, Chrissie says:<br/>'A few weeks into lockdown last year, James sent me the new Dylan track Murder Most Foul. Listening to that song completely changed everything for me. I was lifted out of this morose mood that I'd been in. I remember where I was sitting the day that Kennedy was shot - every reference in the song. Whatever Bob does, he still manages somewhere in there to make you laugh because as much as anything, he's a comedian. He's always funny and always has something to say. Ett musikaliskt projekt som låg Jon Lord extra varmt om hjärtat var The Jon Lord Blues Project. Efter ett gemensamt gig 2010 samlade han nära vänner och veteraner från den brittiska blues- och rockscenen. Uppställningen bestod, förutom Lord själv, av Pete York, Miller Anderson, Maggie Bell, Colin Hodgkinson och Zoot Money - musiker med meriter från bland annat Deep Purple, Spencer Davis Group, Chris Rea och Whitesnake. Detta album spelades in live på Rottweil Jazz Festival 2011. Repertoaren bjuder på klassiska bluestolkningar uppblandat med låtar från Deep Purple och Tom Waits. Nu görs inspelningen återigen tillgänglig för alla blues- och rocksamlare.
